FIBO Teams

FIBO Team Chair(s) Description
FIBO Leadership Team (FLT) Robert Trypuz FLT Team is a closed group. It consists of FIBO ontologists, conceptual modelers and semantic web product experts who have been involved in defining the FIBO "Build-Test-Deploy-Maintain" methodology. The FLT manages the FIBO repository, adjudicates changes in GitHub and JIRA, ensures the alignment of FIBO with existing standards, maintains the FIBO process flow and ensures technical governance for the standard.
FIBO Process Team (FPT) Dean Allemang FPT Team is a closed group. They are responsible for establishing and maintaining FIBO infrastructure. This includes management of FIBO namespaces, GitHub and collaboration mechanisms, liaison with vendors and other mechanisms needed for automatic testing. The FIBO Process Team is integral to implementation and enhancement of the FIBO Build, Test, Deploy and Maintain (BTDM) methodology that governs the ontology.
FIBO Foundations Content Team (FND Team) Mike Bennett FND Team is responsible for designing the basic building blocks of FIBO. FIBO Foundations deals with the underlying concepts of contracts, agents, agreements, transactions, processes, dates, time, goals, legal concepts including jurisdiction and capacity, organizational types, the meaning of ownership and control, the concept of parties and roles, baseline concepts associated with products and services, the fundamental accounting concepts, units of measure, quantities and schedules.
